Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving! And an early very happy Thanksgiving to my friends South of the border 🙂 Thanksgiving is a time to remind us to reflect on our lives in the midst of the hustle and bustle, and to give our thanks.
I have many things to be thankful for this year, and a single blog post just isn’t enough to represent the gratitude I’m feeling, especially towards my family, friends, and people that have supported me with many aspects of my life. I truly can’t thank you all enough for being in my life, and always being there for me when I need any of you. Whether it be listening to me talk about my fears, or reading that latest blog post I just finished, each of these things means a lot to me. There are also those that I’ve connected with in the past year through my blogging journey, and although I haven’t met some in person yet, the support and friendship we’ve developed is something (as corny as it may sound) special.
I’m thankful for the freedom I have to do the things I want. Travelling, pursuing my goals, giving back to causes near and dear to my heart, and not being held back from living the life I want. It is a great feeling and empowering when you feel like you’re living the life you truly want.
Lastly, I’m thankful to have more than enough basic necessities and live comfortably, and I want to remind everyone to never take that for granted.
I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and hopefully this post has reminded you to reflect on your own lives if you haven’t done so yet. Thank you again so much for your ongoing support for my content, it’s nice to know that I’m not talking to myself on the inter webs 😉
