Hope everyone had a great Labour Day weekend! Well for those with an extended day to their weekend like me this week 😉 Even if you didn’t have an extended weekend, I still hope you’re having fun and doing well! I’m definitely soaking up every last bit of sunshine before Autumn really hits, and it’s time to bring out the pumpkins and warm knits.
Another one of my summer concert funsies was Gwen Stefani’s comeback tour (with EVE as her opening act) after being ‘off the radar’ for about 7-8ish years. I’ve been listening to her songs as a 90’s kid, so I was pretty excited to see her live for the first time. Why was I singing about poop and bananas as a kid is a completely other discussion, but she was one of the artists that empowered women at a young age to do whatever the heck they want, well because, they should.
Although there have been numerous articles circling around that she had difficulties selling tickets to this tour, the reviews of the show have proven that Gwen’s comeback tour is nothing short of amazing. With my favourite ‘Used To Love You’ from her latest album, to classics such as ‘Hollaback Girl’ (the crowd went wild when she sang this song) and ‘Don’t Speak’, you are in for a treat and some major throwback!
Check out a few snaps from her show, and what one can expect!
There were many souvenirs to choose from! As always, one of my tips is to remember to bring cash to avoid card machine malfunction issues.
I chose a tumbler with the same design that Gwen gave her mentees on The Voice. I wanted something with that design, but I have way too many t-shirts sitting in my closet so I decided on something different. I absolutely love the pink straw!
A Gwen inspired outfit for the evening. I wore a bright pink summer dress and all bling-ed out! Gwen wouldn’t have it any other way.

My favourite part was at the end when she didn’t rush off the stage to leave like many other artists, but stayed to thank the audience many times and also take photos with the crowds beside the stage.
I had an amazing time and loved every minute of the concert!
