If you live in Vancouver, at some point you probably passed by an event Vancity was apart of. They are always supporting local events and focused on environmental sustainability initiatives. Vancity is presenting again this year the Member Day at an annual summer favourite, the PNE .

With Vancity’s support, the PNE is working towards creating a zero waste Fair for the 15 days. This year, there will be “diversion centres” throughout the property each day of the Fair, with signage to educate and inspire guests regarding appropriate waste diversion practices. Educators at the centres will also be on hand to provide tips to encourage successful acts of diversion.
Members of Vancity and a guest can explore The Fair at the PNE on Vancity Member Day, Thursday, September 1, for $5 each, that’s a savings of $12 each on adult admission!
Members will need to present their Vancity MEMBER CARD® debit card or Vancity enviro™ Visa* (or other form of membership verification) at The PNE. Join Vancity for another Member Day filled with delicious eats, rides, shows, and the many fun new additions at PNE this year!
