Twice a year, Gastown hosts an evening of shopping, treats, and celebration of the businesses in the area. The Shop Hop event, takes place on one evening in April and October, from 5pm-9pm. I’m a big fan of this area, and frequent Gastown quite often for dining or a quick stroll after work, and other times for some fun shopping trips. Many of the shops here carry my favourite brands that I am unable to locate in other places around Vancouver, so I just keep coming back!

You bet I got my shop on! My mom and I had plans for a night out together, and this was just what we needed! Each store had discounts varying from 15% off all items, to buying x amount and receive 1 free. Besides the upbeat music, balloons, and discounts, each store had different refreshments and treats for the guests. A little vino and nibbles to compliment your shopping experience.
